Moondance was not spared by the massive flooding that hit Colorado in September 2013.

The Moondance community was cut off from every road in the area.  Fish Creek a small stream at one point swelled to 60-80 ft across.  Pictures of the Big Thompson River and Buckhorn Creek are shown below. We were not able to get any closer than Masonville for several weeks. Once again we witnessed the impact that weather and its unpredictable nature can have on our beloved property.
